Two representatives from the Chambliss Center for Children are traveling to Washington, D.C., to participate in the live presentation Wednesday of Maria Shriver's in-depth Shriver Report that details the struggles of single women in today's economy.

Phil Acord, president and CEO of the Chambliss Center, and Katie Harbison are making the trip.

Shriver visited Chattanooga with little media attention last year. The only clue she was in the city was a photo of her and Mayor Andy Berke that was posted to Berke's Facebook page.

During her visit to the Scenic City, Shriver spoke in depth with several parents at the Chambliss Center as they relayed their challenges, dreams and hopes for their children. All of them have found help at the Chambliss Center, Harbison said in a news release.
