Police: Suspects carjack woman's vehicle on Highway 58

A 53-year-old woman told police a man and woman carjacked her vehicle on Highway 58 Thursday at knife point.

The woman was able to identify 40-year-old Michael Price and 22-year-old Jasmine Rogers as the pair who took her car, according to Chattanooga police.

The woman told police that she gave the pair a ride to Tennessee Valley Credit Union at 4974 Highway 58. One went inside the bank while the other forced her out of the vehicle after wielding a knife and placing it to the woman's neck. The woman was not injured, according to police.

The pair fled the area, but were apprehended at 1712 Tunnel Blvd. The woman's car was found abandoned near a cemetery on Rowe Road. Both Price and Rogers face a charge of carjacking.
