McKamey Animal Center names new executive director

The McKamey Animal Center today announced it has named Jamie McAloon Lampman as its new executive director.

She succeeds Karen Walsh, who resigned from the center last October.

Lampman most recently served as director of the Ingram County Animal Control and Shelter in Mason, Mich.

McKamey Animal Center has seen more than 40,000 animals since its opening in 2008.

Lampman will take on her new duties in early February, managing a staff of more than 40 workers and more than 100 animal care volunteers.
