NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Authorities say three Parsons residents have been charged with fraud related to TennCare.

The Tennessee Bureau of investigation said Wednesday that Kimberly D. Inman, James W. Inman and Season R. Hughes have been indicted by a Decatur County grand jury.

The TBI says its Medicaid Fraud Control Unit began an undercover operation at The Family Clinic of Parsons in March.

The TBI says Inman and Hughes, who worked as nurses at the clinic, had overprescribed controlled substances to patients as well as prescribed improper drugs. They also are accused of fraudulent billing for services and falsification of medical records related to improper claims of office visits.

The TBI says Kimberly's Inman's husband, James Inman, had knowledge of Kimberly Inman's and Hughes' actions and aided them.
