Wamp won't win. And a Democrat will not get the seat. Democrats, because of BO, are a bad word around here.

You libs will not have the Senate and the House in 2014 mid-terms.

Can't wait to see BO implode even more.

Right about now Chuckie should be thinking about what happened in Mississippi last week. I'll bet he's remembering how important it was for him to leave town so he wouldn't be seen welcoming President Obama to town last year in July. Looks like he might be needing some of President Obama's Democratic supporters the same way Cochran did in Mississippi. Makes one wonder if Chuckie would leave town if President Obama made a return visit? LOL At least Wamp and his father showed up if nothing else but out of respect for the Office of President. Unfortunately, Chuckie doesn't have the luxury of being able to ignore the constituents he has ignored for the last two elections. This time he REALLY needs those crossover votes. One has to wonder if that has crossed his mind as he runs through the airport these days. LOL

July 3, 2014 at 9:15 a.m.

Even if "chuckie" loses to Wamp, the Democrat has no chance.

You libs act as if BO can help someone win an election. LOL How BO is viewed by Fleischmann has no bearing on anything. Even Democrats are running from BO.

Respect is earned, not granted. BO has no respect for US citizens, the Constitution, and for freedom, so screw him.

Z fister, your predictions about what will happen in the elections are as worthless as just about everything else you write. I would love to see the Repubs attempt an impeachment of President Obama. If you think the turnout in 2012 was something as the saying goes "you ain't seen nothing yet." Of course the establishment Repubs won't allow the teabaggers to take them down that road because they know how it ended the last time. This time around they would just need to hire the movers for Hillary and Bubba to the White House. LOL

You just repeat what Alprova and Easy write. I couldn't care less what you think or write. Your critique means squat. You're not capable of chasing off anyone on here, just like the other two cyber- bullies on here aren't.

Only an a-hole would be OK with the whole Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton cycle. Hildabeast won't be the nominee anyway.

She's a sick, tired old lefty who comes across like a condescending elitist. Her attempt to drum up sympathy regarding her financial situation was pathetic and laughable. She had to struggle to scrape money together to pay the mortgages on her Houses/mansions? BOO HOO.

She's done nothing except look the other way as bubba got his rocks off so she'll be rewarded for it later. Disgraceful.

BO won't be impeached, because nobody has the guts to do it because of the race card.

BO will destroy himself. As incompetent as the GOP has been, all they have to do is let BO be BO.

And so do you.

Another projection from you.

There are no square pegs or round holes. It does work. And nothing is wrong.

Had he ever piloted a large boat he would know what happens in one mid-term election does not change the course of the whole electorate.

Hypocrite.

It's been interesting, reading the wish lists of the eternally ignorant in this forum.

Hillary will be running and will be elected the next President.

It could not be any other way.

There is not a Republican or Democrat on the planet who stands a chance of stopping her ascendency into the White House.

So you people can keep twirling like little ballerinas, for all the good it will do.

The woman is not sick, despite what Faux News claims. She's ready for prime time.

Your only hope is that she is found in bed with a live boy or a dead girl.

Otherwise, it will be "Madam President for the next eight years, starting January 20, 2016.

Since when, Jack? National unemployment is at 6.1%. You are like a Fox News shill. Mention unemployment and you guys start with the "Labor participation numbers" (see this from Fister: 90 million plus are out of the labor force.). That is disingenuous as that number takes in to account retirees and people physically and mentally unable to work. Do you honestly believe the Dow would be performing as it is if the job outlook was as bleak as you and Fister would like us to believe?

Zableedofisterix,

I owe you a better answer. What is happening is the passing of an old way of life that for this conversation I will call the "old guard." The ideas of the tea party and by proxy for the GOP, the primary group who define the "old guard," though rooted in the ideal of individual choice and absolute freedom from government in reality has morphed into the idea that people who hold "absolutist" ideas about people who are different should have the right to segregate themselves from those with whom the disagree and also be able to deny them basic rights and opportunity protected by the US Constitution. This extends to refusing even to admit the possibility of compromise with those who differ in legislatures and overall. These ideas are primarily found among old white males and often their wives, conservative southerners who have a conscious or unconscious bias created by the Civil War, and religious fanatics.

Survey after survey shows young people and most women reject this line of thinking as prejudicial and oppressive. The demographic character of the USA is turning more Hispanic/Asian and non-Caucasian and the societal values of that group are quite different from the Old Guard. This trend towards non-Caucasian began through immigration in the 1800's and has accelerated since. The last two elections show this trend is growing, not shrinking.

If the Old Guard persists in clinging to its old ways, as I expect it will, it will soon become a footnote in history and irrelevant to current affairs except in local pockets where they maintain a majority. However a look at some of those pockets, such as Dalton, Chattanooga and GA in general, show this new demographic will overtake their politics.

That is the ship of the old guard to which I refer.

I will not vote for another Bush, Clinton or Wamp. I do wish a strong independent would show up in both campaigns. Anyone in the White House would surely be an improvement over what we have now. It is amazing how so may people fail to see how inept the man is. A normalcy bias is not uncommon when someone takes a position they will not and cannot accept that something is in conflict with how they want things to be. This country is broke and the most debt in the world but no one will admit it or attempt to do anything about it. The republicans are all talk but do nothing. People do not see the problem and don't want to hear it. People say keep my piece of the pie coming to me and make sure it gets larger and not smaller.

This administration has impeded what would have been one of the greatest economic recoveries in history. Not one member of either party has proposed sweeping reform of the convoluted unfair tax laws but both talk about it and say "something needs to be done" but never get to the details of what. We badly need congressional term limits but that is not possible since those holding on for dear life to the cushiony tax funded good life will never stand for it.

Why don't we just go ahead and anoint a royal family and pass the throne to the next in line. We are attempting to model Europe, the very world our founders fought to escape. Everything revolves in a circle and the U.S. is about to complete the circle.

You people will grasp at any straw that will give you temporary comfort that Hillary is not going to be elected the next President.

Hillary hardly has to even campaign, her poll numbers are so high and have remained high for most of the last two years.

Hillary is up no less than 10 points on every single Republican opponent this week. That is a new high.

Only an idiot would believe that she will not be announcing her candidacy this coming January or February, after the mid term winners have been seated.

No one is going to be thrown under the bus, unless it is Vice President Joe Biden, who would normally be expected to inherit the White House, but he will never, ever poll high enough to be President.

Too bad. So sad. But that's reality. He actually might make a fine President, but his brash personality has tarnished him for life.

The Republicans have nobody that can beat Hillary. That too is a sad fact of reality and it has been that way for at least two years.

Chris Christie was their only hope and the Republicans trashed the man equally as bad as any Democrat could have, because he is a moderate, which is the only Republican candidate who stands half a chance of being elected by any majority of people in this nation.

Tea Party politicians are finished. Yeah a couple may win in gerrymandered districts, but that's about it. They will not win anywhere where it matters.

The Tea Party is going the way of the Blue Dog Democrats. They will all disappear or they will distance themselves from the movement.

Far right-wing candidates have always had limited runs of success in this nation. Always. Far right-wingers will never, ever be in charge of this nation...period.

Whether you agree with it or not, what happens when it comes to our current immigration problem is totally out of your hands.

All you and those like you can do is whine, moan, groan, stomp your feet, and wail to the Heavens above.

You have absolutely no idea where I live. You've never known for one minute where I have lived. Google didn't even have my former house correct. But I digress. That home was sold months ago.

I now live in a more disability friendly home, built very recently and very near to my office. I don't know what kind of friends and family you have, but my friends and family built and then gave me a new home.

And as usual, whenever you are cornered, you try to take the focus off of where it belongs.

You are in the midst of an identity crises. You refuse to deal with it. You have some serious issues dealing with reality.

"And that dog-house of a sales office at Swindlers Friendly Village Motors. Disgraceful. That shack got indoor plumbing?"

Your opinion related to my business is absolutely of no consequence to anyone but yourself. You didn't pay one dime toward the cost of the property and it serves its purpose very well.

Of course it has indoor plumbing.

Tell me you have something more to come at me with, other than pot shots related to real estate.

You are a proven, convicted, self-admitted child predator. Nothing could be worse, in the opinion of most people.

Your opinions of my real estate are quite innocuous. In fact, given your personal problems and past, those opinions are quite hilarious and quite misplaced.

You have your own issues to address, but you refuse to do it.
