A woman was killed in a three-car crash on Shallowford Rd. July 5, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
The crash happened at 4200 Shallowford Road around 3:40 p.m.
Officers say the driver of one vehicle hit a second, causing it to roll over. Then it hit a third vehicle head on. The drivers of the first two vehicles were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the third vehicle, 73-year-old Beatrice Lambdin, was pronounced dead at the scene.
There have been no charges filed at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
