• Chattanooga Christian teammates Scott Stevens and Lake Johnson are tied for 10th and 13th, respectively, at 144 and 145 after two rounds of the 51st annual Tennessee Junior Amateur golf tournament on the Sevierville Golf Club's River Course. Davis Shore of Knoxville took the lead at 138 with a 7-under-par 63 Wednesday, when Stevens shot a 71 and Johnson carded a 72. Clayton Gregory of Bartlett and first-round leader Tanner Owens of Milton are tied for second at 139. Manchester's Matt Johnson shares 24th place at 150 after a 73, and Chattanooga's Reese Scobey (73) and Cleveland's Dylan Lillard (70) are at 151 and 152 going into the final round.

• St. Andrew's-Sewanee golfer Jenna Burris from Manchester is tied for fourth place at 9-over-par 151 after two rounds of the Tennessee Girls' Junior Amateur tournament on the Sevierville Golf Club's Highlands Course, and Manchester's Hollee Sadler and Winchester's Malia Nicole Stovall are tied for sixth at 154 after shooting 73 and 74 in the second round Wednesday. Ooltewah's Samantha Griffith is tied for 10th at 156, and Baylor player Katherine Holmes from Signal Mountain shares 12th at 157. Aubree Jones of Covington leads by two strokes at 147.
