Stoves move through an assembly line at Roper Corp.'s plant in LaFayette.The Georgia Department of Labor will host a job expo July 18 to help Roper Corp. fill 90 manufacturing jobs in LaFayette, Ga.
The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Civic Center, 44 Highway 48, in Summerville, Ga. Roper will be hiring full-time workers in both temporary and permanent positions who will be expected to work eight-hour shifts.
Temporary hires will start at $10.75 per hour, while permanent hires will earn $12.30 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and a high school diploma or GED is required. For more information, call 706-638-5525.
