South Knoxville man charged with stabbing his mother

KNOXVILLE - A South Knoxville man has been charged after allegedly confessing to stabbing his mother in the neck during an argument overnight, according to records.

Joshua Drew Hill, 30, remained jailed lieu of $25,000 bond Sunday afternoon on a charge of aggravated assault.

Knoxville Police Department officers were called at 12:35 a.m. Sunday to the apartment Hill shares with his mother at Trevor Trace Apartments, 520 E. Red Bud Road, according to an arrest report.
