Huntsville scored twice in the seventh inning Saturday night and captured a 5-4 win over the Chattanooga Lookouts before a crowd of 4,689 at AT&T Field.

The Stars managed just one hit in the seventh but benefited from two walks and a passed ball. Greg Hopkins tied the game when he scored on a sacrifice, and Yadiel Rivera put the Stars ahead to stay when he crossed the plate on a passed ball.

Chattanooga dropped to 9-14 in the Southern League's second half and is 35-58 this season.

The Lookouts took their only lead at 4-3 in the third inning when Darnell Sweeney walked, took second on a throwing error, advanced to third on a Noel Cuevas sacrifice and scored on Scott Schebler's groundout. Schebler had two RBIs in the game.

Lookouts starting pitcher Chris Reed entered Saturday leading the league with 99 strikeouts. Reed allowed a leadoff walk and then picked up his 100th by striking out Adam Wiesenburger.

Later in the first inning, however, Reed allowed a three-run home run to left field by Joey Paciorek. Reed worked six innings, allowing five hits and three runs and collecting five strikeouts.

The Lookouts and Stars will play again this afternoon at 2:15.
