NASHVILLE -- U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander today launched an online video and get-out-the-vote website to encourage Republican primary voters in Tennessee to participate in early voting that starts this Friday for the Aug. 7 election.

The website is VoteinTN.com.

According to Alexander's campaign, the video is part of a digital ad buy that highlights Alexander's "consistent, principled stand against Obamacare and other actions by the Obama administration."

The VoteinTN.com website includes information on polling locations and times, as well as an interactive map to help voters in each county find directions to their polling place.

"My goal as your U.S. senator is to transfer to Washington, D.C. more of the low-tax, balanced budget and job growth policies that I helped put in place as governor of Tennessee," said Alexander, a former governor. "By staying true to our conservative roots and working to get a result, I know together we can move the country in a more conservative direction. Early voting starts Friday, July 18 and I'm asking for your vote."
