Chattanooga police identify two motorcyclists killed in Rossville Boulevard crash

Two motorcyclists were killed in a crash at 2900 Rossville Boulevard Sunday evening.

The crash happened around 7:40 p.m.

Witnesses said the motorcycles made contact with each other and lost control, causing both riders to be thrown from their motorcycles, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.

One motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene. The other was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Police identified the two as 53-year-old Robert Lee Dunn Jr. and 31-year-old Jason Steine.

The accident is still under investigation, police said.
