One motorcyclist died Sunday and another is hospitalized in critical condition after an evening accident on Rossville Boulevard, police said.
The Chattanooga Police Department received a call around 7:40 p.m. today about an accident involving two motorcycles in the 2900 block of Rossville Boulevard, police said. Both drivers were traveling south and left the roadway, each striking a separate utility pole.
One driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police will release the victims' names after their families have been notified.
The accident is still under investigation, police said late today.
