The Chattanooga Lookouts lost their fifth consecutive game Monday night, dropping a 9-2 decision to Montgomery in the series opener at AT&T FIeld.

Taylor Motta set the tone with a home run to left field in the first inning, and the Biscuits made it 2-0 in the second inning on Alejandro Segoria's RBI double to center. Montgomery stretched its lead to 4-0 in the fourth when Luke Malle drew a leadoff walk and Jeff Martin followed with a two-run homer to left.

The Lookouts pulled within 4-1 later in the fourth when Scott Schebler reached on a throwing error and scored on Daniel Mayora's double to center, but that was as close as they would get.

Chattanooga dropped to 10-19 in the Southern League's second half and to 36-63 overall this season. A crowd of 2,111 attended Monday's game.
