Taggers hit Creative Arts Guild in Dalton

The Creative Arts Guild in Dalton, Ga., has some uninvited art displayed on the walls of its Waugh Street facility, according to a news release from Bruce Frazier, public relations specialist with the Dalton Police Department.

Over the weekend, several different graffiti tags were painted onto the facility, according to the release.

The release said that all of the tags were done in black spray paint and include the words "MASS-PR-DEUCE," "FAMA," "EPA.D," and the phrase "ART IS NOT DEAD." The graffiti also includes two pictures of a person.

Investigators do not believe the tagging is gang-related. Anyone with information on the person or people responsible for this vandalism are asked to contact Detective Chris Tucker at 706-278-9085, dial 9 and then enter extension 165.
