Music club marks 90th birthday of Austin organ

What: The Chattanooga Music Club marked the 90th birthday of the Austin organ's installation in Memorial Auditorium with a birthday cake and patriotic concert open to the community. The concert featured organist Fredrick Hohman, who recorded his new CD on the Austin organ.

Benefits: The concert was free, but club members accepted donations to help fund ongoing maintenance on the historic instrument.

Dogs on the catwalk at Paws for the Cause

What: Dogs paraded down the catwalk during the annual Paws for the Cause fundraiser held at Stratton Hall. In addition to a silent auction and music by Danny Boy Patnode, the fundraiser featured "Rescues on the Runway," which highlighted adoption stories of Humane Educational Society animals.

Benefits: Humane Educational Society.
