UPDATE: Chattanooga police identify 22-year-old shooting victim

Chattanooga police have identified a 22-year-old man who was shot in the knee at 262 W. 38th St. about 5 p.m. Monday.

The victim was identified as Keith Carter. Carter was transported to a local hospital where he received treatment for a nonlife-threatening injury.

Investigators are working to determine the facts surrounding the incident, but the victim is being uncooperative, according to the news release. Chattanooga police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423-698-2525.
