It's June 10, so hear ye, hear ye. It's time for court.

From the satellite branch of the "Talks too much" studios, a court jester is still an officer of the court.

Court takes center stage in the sports on this Tuesday. This is not court related, but it's an interesting breakdown of how many jobs were shuffled and affected after Mack Brown resigned at Texas. According the reports, 103 coaches were directly impacted after the move. Crazy indeed.

Calling the docket:

• The Ed O'Bannon case has started, and O'Bannon, the former UCLA basketball star who is suing the NCAA for not sharing the profits from using his likeness, took the stand Monday. The really interesting parts could come when the NCAA officials are sworn in. There's a chance that in the end, O'Bannon, who has already been part of the $40 million settlement for hundreds of thousands of basketball and football players with EA Sports, will be the single greatest change agent in college sports history.

• Is anyone really surprised that Donald Sterling has now changed his mind and will sue the NBA, which in some ways since he's suing the owners for forcing him to sell, he indirectly is suing himself? This was how this had to end. And, while we're tired of this train wreck and the quicker Sterling goes away for good, the better, Sterling on the witness stand will be must-see TV.

• NBA Finals Game 3 tonight. Good times, and we expect another fun game unless the Heat get to a double-digit lead late in the third. We can see Spurs coach Greg Popovich pushing his chips in for Game 4.

• Our man David Paschall has a home run interview set up for today - former Georgia coach Jim Donnan will be on Press Row today on ESPN 105.1 FM and right here on timesfreepress.com. By all accounts this is the first interview Donnan has given since he was found not guilty on a slew of white collar charges involving investments of several former and current college coaches, who lost millions.

• The court of public appeal says the Braves need to play the Rockies 42 times a year; the Kings have all but wrapped up Lord Stanley's chalice, and does anyone have interest in a U.S. Open contest? We'll check back for deliberations.

Until then, ponder on this: Interesting collection of birthdays today - including Kate Upton turning 22. Also of note are Sasha Obama, Judy Garland and Hattie McDaniel. Garland (who played Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz) and McDaniel (who played Mammy in Gone with the Wind) uttered two of the most famous female lines in movie history - Garland with several including "There's no place like home" and "Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore" and McDaniel offering "It makes my blood run cold, the things they say to one another."
