A 31-year-old woman who confessed to police that she was present when her ex-boyfriend and his brother killed Zacherey Higdon in October 2011 has had her charges sent to the Hamilton County Grand Jury this morning.
In April, Jessica Sterchi told Chattanooga police details of the murder at 900 Airport Road that started as a drug deal turned robbery.
General Sessions Court Judge Gary Starnes found probable cause from the testimony of Chattanooga police detective Lucas Fuller.
She has been charged with first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery and tampering with evidence.
