Drink stops to join Ooltewah's Cambridge Square development

New tenants are moving into Cambridge Square in Ooltewah.

A couple of specialty bars will open next year in Ooltewah at the Cambridge Square development near the Honors Golf Course.

Barrier Properties announced Thursday that it will add two new tenants to Cambridge Square -- Heaven and Ale and Wine Down Ooltewah.

Heaven and Ale is a craft beer bar, and has a location in the North Shore community. That location opened about a year ago. The Ooltewah location will be 1,000 square feet and offer 24 craft beer taps, which will cycle based on season and variety.

Wine Down Ooltewah is a wine bar and tasting room concept, which will offer wines from around the world, high-end spirits, high-gravity beers and hand-made cocktails. The shop will also offer cheese dishes and sandwiches.

Wine Down is owned by Marcus Garner, the man behind Hennen's.

The shop will occupy 1,800 square feet next to Heaven and Ale, and will offer outdoor seating.

The two tenants' commitment to Cambridge Square is the catalyst for the construction of a new, 8,000-square-foot building on-site which is expected to be up in the spring of next year.
