CFC men rock Knoxville Force, 6-1

Sias Reyneke scored a pair of goals and the Chattanooga Football Club men had a four-goal first half on their way to a 6-1 win over the Knoxville Force late Saturday night at Finley Stadium.

The match didn't begin until 9:50, due to inclement weather pushing the women's match back two and a half hours, but the men came out sharp, with a scoring flurry that hadn't been seen since the last time the two clubs played, when CFC had four goals in a 15-minute span in the second half in a 4-0 win.

Reyneke scored in the 14th and 28th minutes, while Luis Trude had a goal and an assist and Niall McCabe scored on a penalty kick in the first half.

Thibault Charmey had a second-half penalty kick, and then Chris Ochieng scored when the Force goalkeeper didn't clear the ball.

The CFC men (6-2-2, 5-1-2) remain in first place in the National Premier Soccer League's Southeast Division. They will play at home next Saturday in a big match against the New Orleans Jesters with divisional title implications.
