Georgia football coach Mark Richt announced Monday afternoon that Ronnie Letson is the program's new director of player personnel.
Letson was an offensive analyst at Alabama last season and in February was named receivers coach at Samford.
"Ronnie has a vast wealth of knowledge in both on-field coaching and organizational skills that will be a great asset to our program," Richt said in a released statement. "His career has been spent in the Southeast, and he knows the landscape of college football."
Letson was Jacksonville State's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 2004 to 2012. Before that he worked as Presbyterian College's receivers coach and as an offensive and defensive graduate assistant at Ole Miss.
