Chattanooga Lookouts win series finale against Smokies, 7-3

KODAK, Tenn. - A three-run first inning propelled the Chattanooga Lookouts to a 7-3 victory Monday night in their Southern League baseball series finale against the Tennessee Smokies.

Chattanooga's first inning contained a Darnell Sweeney single to center field, a Daniel Mayora RBI double to center and Scott Schebler's two-run home run to right-center.

Lookouts starting pitcher Raydel Sanchez allowed one hit in six scoreless innings, and Casio Grider tripled and scored in the eighth after the Smokies had pulled within 5-3.

The Lookouts open a five-game home series against Pensacola at AT&T Field tonight at 7:15. Nick Struck (1-4, 7.24 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for Chattanooga, while Daniel Corcino (7-5, 3.47) is scheduled for the Blue Wahoos.
