Urging Congress to vote for freedom

Please vote yes on both HB 4307 (Milk Freedom Act of 2014) and HB 4308 (Interstate Milk Freedom Act of 2014).

It is past time for Congress to put a stop to all of this aggression by armed government employees and let the people choose what to eat and drink.

It is obvious the FDA and USDA have no real concern for my health. If they did, they would be raiding (supermarkets) instead since their aisles are full of poisonous foods!

Let justice prevail

For more than 60 years, the universal code of military justice has set forth the primary principle of American law that all people are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court martial.

Why do so many elected officials and former members of our armed forces fail to trust American constitutional and military law in the case of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl?

Throughout the history of our nation, the commander-in-chief of our armed forces, other commanders and diplomats have negotiated exchanges of captured military personnel in light of our national commitment that "no one will be left behind."

Why do so many commentators condemn our president, Department of Defense and State Department for their behavior?

Jesus Christ and his disciples taught that God alone is the Lord of each human being's conscience, and that teaching is a central doctrine among the written tenets of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the Roman Catholic Church.

Why do so many Christians condemn Sgt. Bergdahl's father for advising him to follow his conscience? Could demagoguery, anarchy, error, racism, heresy, polytheism and/or atheism underlie such seemingly un-American behavior?

A message to conservatives

What's wrong with the tea party and Republican politics?

A woman dies from lack of medical care in a Pennsylvania prison where she was sent for not paying a fine when her children didn't go to school.

A man with a handgun is killed when he tries to stop the anti-government couple who had already killed two policemen.

There have been 74 school shootings since Newtown, 29 in the 12 southern states, but gun laws are bad.

One Catholic priest was killed and another is in critical condition in Phoenix.

With all the killings in the USA today, how can anyone push for open carry laws and no control over who can buy guns?

Tea party congressmen and Republicans don't want the government to spend money caring for our veterans.

Thirty-three U.S. cities have restricted feeding the homeless in the past year alone, many in the South and conservative states in the West. Yet the South claims to be the most Christian region.

The conservatives claim that climate change and global warming are bogus, refusing to accept scientific findings. They would rather go by our weather than look at the rest of the world.
