Tiger Woods tosses a ball around during practice Tuesday for the Quicken Loans National golf tournament this week.

In his first tournament since back surgery earlier this year, Tiger Woods posted a 3-over 74 at Congressional in the Quicken Loans National.

Woods started on No. 10 Thursday morning and made bogey on each of the first two holes he played - it was his first competitive round since the World Golf Championship in early March.

Ricky Barnes and Patrick Reed share the lead at 4 under.
