A man shot in Altamont early today is in stable condition at Erlanger Hospital.
Grundy County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a shooting in Altamont at 2 a.m. today, where they found Jimmy Hobbs with a shotgun wound. Hobbs was taken by Life Force to Erlanger in Chattanooga for treatment.
Two people have been charged in the shooting: Donny "Little Don" Fults and Stacy Eckland.
The Sheriff's department was unable to release any additional information.
