"Elton John: The Million Dollar Piano," a concert captured during the entertainer's residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, will be shown at three area movie theaters twice in the next two weeks.

Audiences will see the critically acclaimed concert in its entirety. Its playlist of greatest hits includes "Rocket Man," "Tiny Dancer," "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting," "I'm Still Standing," "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," "Philadelphia Freedom" and "Your Song."

"It's unlike anything I have done before, a complete mix, a showcase of all my music, accompanied by spectacular scenery and beautiful video images," said John.

At the centerpiece of the performance is the show's namesake "million dollar" piano, a one-of-a-kind engineering marvel made by Yamaha. The state-of-the-art instrument displays imagery on 68 LED video screens to complement each of the show's iconic songs.

In addition to the concert footage, fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of John's 1973 album, "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road." Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and set to be reissued on March 25, it ranks at No. 91 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

The concert is being screened in nearly 700 select movie theaters nationwide, including Hamilton Place 8 and East Ridge 18 in Chattanooga as well as UEC Theatres 14 in McDonald, Tenn. Show time is 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, and Wednesday, March 26.

John began his musical residency at Caesars in September 2011 and has 16 shows remaining through April. In the concert footage, he is accompanied by Davey Johnstone on guitar, Bob Birch (who died in 2012) on bass, John Mahon on percussion, Nigel Olsson on drums and Kim Bullard on keyboards, with a special appearance by percussionist Ray Cooper.
