'I'm Getting Murdered in the Morning,' but, first, dinner is served - March 14-15

The next production by Closed Door Entertainment invites guests to a wedding reception, complete with a sit-down dinner.

The murder-mystery/comedy "I'm Getting Murdered in the Morning" will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 14-15, with dinner starting at 7 p.m., at Abba's House, 5208 Hixson Pike.

The action begins during the garter toss at Brenda and Eddie's reception when a mysterious man falls dead of a gunshot on the dance floor. The bride's father, the wealthy Harold Montague, has invited a damage-control expert, Mr. Parker, who tries to spin the incident as "nothing to worry about." But newspaper columnist Mary Berger insists this could be the society scandal of the year, especially since the dead man seems to have ties to both the groom's and bride's families and secrets neither side wishes to reveal.

The dinner will include Venetian-stuffed chicken, mushroom-cheddar orzo, roasted asparagus, Mediterranean salad, garlic rolls and a dessert. A vegetarian option is available upon request when tickets are purchased.

Tickets are $22 per adult and $17 for students/seniors, free for children 5 and under. Call 423-290-8515 to reserve.
