UPDATE: 100 mph high-speed chase ends with two arrests

RED BANK, Tenn. - A 100 m.p.h. high-speed chase that started in Hamilton County early Thursday morning later ended in Georgia with the vehicle crashing in Gordon County.

The initial traffic stop by Red Bank Police took place on Dayton Boulevard near Morrison Springs road for a non-working light on the suspect's vehicle. Police ran the license plate, which came back as a stolen vehicle.

As the officer exited his vehicle, the suspect left the scene, heading south on Dayton Boulevard. Police say they lost contact with the vehicle near Signal Mountain Road, but were able to find it again, headed north on Dayton Boulevard to Highway 153.
