Early and absentee election tallies in Altamont, Tenn., show incumbent Grundy County Sheriff Brent Myers is trailing Lindell Clint Shrum with the third contestant, Deke M. Stone bringing up the rear with 91 votes.

Shrum has 1,015 votes to 358 for Myers.
