Hamilton County Commissioner Tim Boyd leads in Republican primary for the District 8 seat

Incumbent Tim Boyd is leading the Republican primary for the District 8 seat on the Hamilton County Election Commission.

With 106 of 130 precincts reporting, Boyd, the incumbent, has 688 votes. Curtis Adams has 540 votes and Brent Lambert has 360 votes.

The winner of the primary will face Democrat Kenny Smith in the August general election.
