The 1400 block of Morris Hill Road will be closed for utility construction between East Brainerd Road and Morin Road, beginning Monday at 8:30 a.m., the Chattanooga Transportation Department has announced.
The project is scheduled to take five days with expected completion at 4 p.m. on May 16. Detours will be posted using East Brainerd Road, Banks Road and Igou Gap Road.
Additionally, a milling and paving project in the 400 block of North Market Street will begin Tuesday morning with only one lane being closed. Free flow of southbound traffic will be allowed until 8:30 a.m. while northbound traffic flow is expected to be open by 4 p.m. All work is scheduled to be completed by May 16 at 4 p.m.
