A two-car crash Wednesday night at the intersection of 25th Street and Peerless Road in Cleveland sent four people to area hospitals, two in critical condition, a news release states.

Bradley County EMS crews responded to the accident at 9:10 p.m., according to a news release from that agency. A total of 5 ambulances and an EMS shift commander went sent to the scene, and victims were extricated from both vehicles by the Cleveland Fire Department.

A 25-year-old man was transported to SkyRidge Medical Center and later taken to Erlanger hospital in Chattanooga. A 22-year-old woman was taken to SkyRidge by ambulance in serious but stable condition.

One patient was flown via Lifeforce air ambulance to Erlanger in critical condition, and another went there by ambulance in critical condition, the release states.
