Georgia football coach Mark Richt announced Tuesday that receiver Uriah LeMay is transferring away.

LeMay was a three-star prospect in Georgia's 2013 signing class and redshirted last season. In March, he was charged on four counts of trying to deposit stipend checks twice.

"Uriah made the decision in order to have a better opportunity for playing time," Richt said in a released statement. "He has our best wishes in achieving all his goals as a student and athlete."

The 6-foot-2, 197-pounder from Matthews, N.C., is the younger brother of quarterback Christian LeMay, who transferred from Georgia after last season and is now at Jacksonville State.
