KENNESAW, Ga. - The Dalton soccer team claimed their second consecutive Class AAAA state championship Saturday with a 2-0 victory over Johnson-Gainesville at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Kennesaw.
The Catamounts (22-0-1) had goals from Justen Macias and Javier Rodriguez, and shut down the Knights in their 45th consecutive non-loss.
