Natrez Patrick commits to Georgia

Georgia picked up the eighth football commitment for its 2015 signing class Friday night, receiving a nonbinding pledge from Atlanta's Natrez Patrick.

The 6-foot-3, 228-pounder from Mays High is rated by as the nation's No. 3 weakside defensive end and No. 59 prospect overall. He had numerous scholarship offers and picked the Bulldogs over Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss.

Patrick is the fifth four-star prospect to commit to the Bulldogs and the second top-100 prospect. Terry Godwin, the No.1 athlete prospect out of Hogansville, Ga., is the No. 26 overall prospect.
