Mosley launches campaign

Karitsa Mosley, Democratic candidate for Hamilton County School Board District 5, will hold her campaign kick-off from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at 3204 Brainerd Road, between the Brainerd Tunnels and The Comedy Catch.

Sparks seeks Sessions seat

Rex Sparks will launch his campaign for Hamilton County Sessions Court judge from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Jefferson's Restaurant, 618 Georgia Ave.

Democrats plan to meet

The Marion County Democratic Party will meet at 6 p.m. CDT Tuesday in the Senior Activities Center in South Pittsburg, Tenn.

The agenda will include the August county general election along with introduction of candidates for local, state and national offices. Light refreshments will be served starting at 5:30 p.m.

Graham kicks off re-election

Joe Graham will kick off his re-election campaign for the 6th District Hamilton County Commission seat from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. There will be hors d'oeuvres and live music by the Mountain Cove Blue grass Band.

Voters are invited to meet and greet fellow supporters and local leaders.

Bankston seeking seat

Chester Bankston, Republican county commissioner in District 9, will launch his re-election campaign from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the fire hall training center at 9100 Snow Hill Road in Ooltewah.

Bone running for District 9

Melinda Bone, a Democrat seeking the District 9 commission seat, will hold a fundraising picnic Saturday at Pavilion 2 at Harrison Bay State Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
