CBM taps Rogers for promotion

Chattanooga Business Machines has promoted Keith Rogers to the position of service manager. Rogers, who has a degree in mechanical engineering, has worked for 23 years with the company.

"We are proud to have Keith head our service department, and we look forward to his continued commitment to the company and to our customers," said CBM President Lana Toomey.

Chattanoogan adds Wellman

Hospitality industry veteran Diana Wellman has been named director of conference services for The Chattanoogan.

Tom Cupo, Benchmark Hospitality International's regional managing director at the property, said he is pleased to welcome Wellman back to The Chattanoogan.

"She brings important experience within the conference services discipline to our hotel gained at numerous properties throughout the Benchmark organization," Cupo said. "She is also a great champion of Benchmark's 'Be the Difference' service culture, which is so important to our business."

Wellman comes to her new role at The Chattanoogan with three decades of senior hospitality experience, spanning sales, conference services and catering. For the past 10 years, Wellman also served as a member of Benchmark's global task force team, assisting a number of Benchmark Hospitality properties, including Turtle Bay Resort in Hawaii, The Chattanoogan in Tennessee, Naples Bay Resort in Florida, Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado, The Heldrich in New Jersey and Hotel Contessa in Texas.

Earlier in her career, Wellman and her husband owned and operated a guest ranch in Montana. She is a graduate of New Hampshire Technical College.


Williamson joins SIGNiX as VP

SIGNiX, a company that provides secure and simple digital signature services, has hired Leonora Zilkha Williamson as vice president of partner development. In her role, Williamson will work to identify potential partners in a variety of industries.

Williamson studied at Princeton University and Harvard Business School and has broad professional experience that includes tenure at JP Morgan in New York and Santiago, Chile; the Boston Consulting Group in Boston and Mexico City, Mexico; and the Estee Lauder Companies in New York and London. Williamson successfully planned multiple large-scale sales initiatives and managed accounts worth up to $1 billion.

"Leonora's international experience and business savvy make her a perfect fit for our growing company," said Pem Guerry, executive vice president of SIGNiX. "Leonora will work to add more companies to our partner ecosystem and broaden relationships with our existing partners."

In addition to her professional experience, Williamson is involved in community service. She is a founding member of the JumpFund, an angel fund dedicated to investing in female-led businesses in the Southeast, a member of the Chattanooga Downtown Rotary Club, treasurer of the Creative Discovery Museum and vice chair of Causeway.

Lewis heads health group

Miller & Martin PLLC has named Nashville attorney David Lewis to head the health care practice group for the Chattanooga-based law firm, according to firm chairman Jim Haley.

Lewis joined Miller & Martin's Nashville office in May after serving as the vice president and associate legal counsel at LifePoint Hospitals in Brentwood. He will be responsible for the ongoing growth and service of this practice group across the firm's offices in Chattanooga, Atlanta and Nashville. Currently, 10 attorneys are engaged in the firm's health care work.

"Since joining us this spring, David has demonstrated his strengths in developing our firm's health care presence," Haley said. "We are pleased that he will be leading all of our offices in broadening our services to health care clients as we continue our growth in this vibrant and important area."

Lewis has been engaged in health care legal work for more than 25 years.
