Good deed: WWII vehicles get TLC from generous volunteer

The 6th Cavalry Museum, like all nonprofits, has many unique volunteer opportunities. One of our most pressing needs is the care and maintenance of our WWII Willys Jeep and troop transport truck. After visiting the museum, local auto repair shop owner, Houston Edgeman, agreed to inspect the vehicles and see if he could lend his expertise to get them ready for the museum's major fundraiser, "Remembering Our Heroes."

Houston spent hours getting the vehicles ready, donating not only his time but the parts as well. What a thrill to see the Allied re-enactors jumping from the truck for the mock battle and to know that Houston is just a phone call away should we need him. The museum is indeed fortunate to have him as a volunteer.
