Red Bank's Terry Pope defeats Floy Pierce by 1,000 votes

Embattled Red Bank Vice-Mayor Floy Pierce was defeated Tuesday evening, losing by 1,000 votes to challenger Terry Pope in the District 1 commission race.

Red Bank Mayor John Roberts, meanwhile, kept his spot on the commission, defeating fellow commissioner Rick Causer 1,748 to 693 in the commissioner-at-large race.

Edward LeCompte took District 3 with 1,600 votes. Dalton Alexander Temple received 693 votes.

Wine in grocery stores passed in Red Bank 2,004 to 702.
