COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - It was another day of setting or adding to records for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team.

Mocs quarterback Jacob Huesman added 323 yards of total offense to the school record he already owned, and senior defensive end Davis Tull tagged half a sack to his program and conference records.

Sophomore defensive end Keionta Davis made the fourth forced fumble of the season, moving him into a tie atop the Southern Conference in that category with four, just one behind the FCS leader.

And true freshman running back Richardre Bagley had his best day as a UTC player, setting career highs in catches (3) and yards (67), also making the first touchdown catch of his career. He had set those individual records by halftime, and his score tied his career-long reception. He finished with 148 all-purpose yards, including 58 on kickoff returns.

"The thing that impressed me the most is, for a freshman, when we were trying to run the clock down, that guy was going through the hole with two hands on the football," Jacob Huesman said of Bagley, who helped run out the clock with four carries on the final five snaps. "I don't know if everybody takes it to heart, but that guy had the ball locked in and it wasn't coming out. That was impressive to me.

"He's going to be really, really good for us."

Brown now to 204

The loss was the 204th in Tennessee Tech coach Watson Brown's 29-year career. He already had the most coaching losses in major college football history.

Earlier this season he became the first coach with more than 200 losses, eclipsing Amos Alonzo Stagg's record of 199. The next closest active coach is Barry Streeter of Gettysburg College in Division III, who has 176 losses but also 183 wins. The 64-year-old Brown, whose career record is 131-204-1, earlier coached at Austin Peay, Cincinnati, Rice, Vanderbilt and Alabama-Birmingham and is in his eighth season at Tennessee Tech.
