BlueCross among best work places

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has been recognized by Modern Healthcare magazine as one of its Best Places to Work for 2014.

The annual ranking is based on company programs and employee feedback. The rating is based upon employee surveys and the magazine's assessment of compensation, incentive and benefit packages, performance and talent management programs, workforce diversity and inclusion, wellness programs and community impact.

Bill Gracey, president and chief executive officer of BlueCross, said the award reflects what's going on within Tennessee's biggest health insurer.

"In an ever-changing environment, we succeed because of our outstanding employees,"Gracey said.
