A manhunt in Bradley County has ended in arrest, said Sheriff Eric Watson.

On Wednesday afternoon, officers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol began to pursue a vehicle on I-75, when the driver left the interstate at Exit 20, according to a news release from the Bradley County Sheriff's Office.

The man travelled on APD 40, exiting and wrecking on South Lee Highway in the Bridgewater area near McDonald.

After crashing, the driver fled the scene, while another man in the vehicle did not flee and was taken into custody.

The fleeing man ran into a wooded area and was found by officers approximately 45 minutes later.

Both occupants of the vehicle will be transported to the Bradley County Jail, according to Watson.
