Workers mover dirt around a sinkhole at Grote Hall at UTC.UTC authorities shut down Grote Hall today after a sinkhole was discovered near the building.
The hole extends about 30 feet underground at the corner of the building near Grote and Holt halls.
UTC staff is currently evaluating the situation.
Grote Hall houses the university's geology department.
