Massage Heights comes to Northgate

Therapeutic services business Massage Heights plans to open a location at Northgate Mall in January and employ up to 30 therapists, according to mall owner CBL & Associates Properties Inc. The San Antonio-based business has more than 100 locations and operates on a membership model. Franchise owners are Andrew and Christina Krieger, who relocated to the Hixson area two years ago.

"Regular massage is a necessity in today's fast paced environment to counteract the stress of work and home demands," said Christina Krieger in a statement.

The retreat will take 3,000 square feet on the exterior of the mall near Applebee's and will offer 11 single massage rooms, a couples massage room and two facial rooms.
