Second drug bust occurs Thursday in Jackson County

In a second, unrelated drug bust in Jackson County Thursday, Jackson County officials arrested three people on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a news release.

Dustin Sullivan, 27, of Stevenson, AL; James Jeremy Owens, 31, of Stevenson, AL; and Heather Bradford, 20, of Stevenson, AL, were all arrested at a residence on County Road 96 in Stevenson.

Sullivan is in custody, but his bond has not yet been set. Owens and Bradford are also in custody, and both have bond set at $19,000.

The investigation began after officials received a tip of drug activity occurring at the residence where the suspects were found, according to the news release. Officials did find ingredients at the residence to make methamphetamine.

The release said other arrests are anticipated in this case.
