Convergys Corp. plans to hire about 300 more people for its Chattanooga call center, according to the company.
The company has gained new clients and it's ramping up for the holidays.
Convergys plans to hold an open house from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at its Chattanooga center at Eastgate Town Center.
Or, people can jump start their application before the open house by going online to Convergys' website at www.careers.convergys.com, the company said.
The company also plans to hire about 200 people in Clarksville, Tenn.
Convergys hired nearly 500 people in Chattanooga last year, putting its head count here at that time at about 1,700 people.
