Surveillance photo of suspect in Cummings Highway Walmart robbery.Chattanooga Police responded to the Walmart at 3550 Cummings Highway for a robbery from business at 12:20 p.m. today.
Police said a man entered the pharmacy, jumped the counter and approached the pharmacist on duty. He stated he had a gun and demanded oxycodone and hydrocodone pills police said.
The suspect fled the scene with the medication in an unknown vehicle, police said.
No one was injured during the robbery and the suspect never displayed a weapon, police said.
Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
