Some 650 cinemas nationwide, including two in Chattanooga, will be showing "UnFair: Exposing the IRS" at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14.

Presented by Fathom Events and Gadsden Films, the feature-length documentary, written and produced by nationally syndicated radio show host Craig Bergman, investigates the alleged cover-ups and abuses of power at the Internal Revenue Service.

The film features Gov. Mike Huckabee, Glenn Beck, Ted Cruz, Michele Bachmann, David Barton, Grover Norquist, Louie Gohmert, John Linder, Carla Howell, Brian Brown and other pundits. The film will be followed by a town-hall-style, 30-minute panel discussion with leading political experts in front of a live studio audience, hosted by Huckabee.

Filmmakers Bergman, Sullivan and director Judd Saul traveled across the country to interview politicians, community organizers and the alleged victims at the heart of the IRS debate. They describe the documentary as a thought-provoking experience that will allow attendees to join with others in their community to see and hear another perspective on the practices of the IRS.

"In my opinion, the IRS has become a criminal enterprise that shakes down innocent people, harasses them out of business and does so without accountability," Huckabee says. "It's an organization that wants you to provide a restaurant receipt from seven years ago, but it can't even follow federal law to keep up with its internal correspondence by email. Further, it is run by bureaucrats who loudly proclaim they've done nothing wrong, all while taking the fifth to avoid getting caught abusing government power for political purposes. 'Unfair: Exposing the IRS' will reveal what the IRS doesn't want you to know but what you need to know before your liberty gets trampled on."

The Chattanooga theaters hosting the screening are Regal Hamilton Place 8, 2000 Hamilton Place Blvd., and Carmike East Ridge 18, 5080 South Terrace.

Tickets are available at participating theater box offices and online at www.FathomEvents.com.
