A Dayton man is due in federal court tomorrow for a bond hearing on child porn charges after his arrest by Rhea County and federal authorities.

Brian Lee Krzeczowski, 41, of Dayton, is charged on a federal indictment with possession, production, distribution and receiving child pornography following an investigation launched almost a year ago, according to authorities in Rhea County.

Krzeczowski remains in federal custody in Chattanooga.

A search of Krzeczowski's home last December resulted in the seizure of computers, laptops, hard drives and 550 to 600 DVDs containing between 3,500 and 5,000 images. The DVDs were hidden under a table in a closet, according to Rhea County Sheriff's investigator Rocky Potter.

The search was triggered by a complaint in Gallatin, Tenn., where a teen was solicited for nude photos, Potter said.

The collection of images is said to be "one of the largest" in the state in recent years, authorities said.
